Minimalist fashion, high quality tailoring and luxurious fabrics. This is definitely one of my favourite fashion brands.

The S/S 2012 collection is inspired by 60s Mod-style, which is pure Whyred, and poster art from 1920s Russia. The outfits combine army-influenced parkas and M65 jackets with several shades of red.

Men’s Leather Lace Up – 3672

What this Northampton based shoe manufacturer has been doing since it was founded in1987  is to create traditional English handcrafted men’s shoes but with a twist. It stands out from the top-cap Oxford or classic Brogue adding to the smallest details; the punching is always diamond shaped, which design is inspired  by Gothic and Victorian Gothic Revival architecture. Other souces of inspiration include; regency dandies, 20th century subculture and pop culture, literary and filmic references, which give their names to styles and lasts making every pair unique.

There are 5 Jeffery-West flagship stores in England as well as a wide range of styles can also be found in selected shops online.

Table Skirt

He was crowned British Designer of the Year in 1999 and in 2000 as well as awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2006.  The Turkish-born designer and artist is most well-known for his high-minded collections, best typified by a  wooden coffee table that could transform into a skirt. With this book, he has definitely created the ideal accessory to it.

This book is the first in-depth monograph on his work, celebrating Chalayan’s tenth anniversary in fashion. It does not simply document the highlights from ten years of fashion design, but also includes his installations and video projects.
